I thought I would start with sharing a bit about the playhouse we built last summer...hoping to finish a few more ideas in here over this summer..... So I'll add a few photos of what it is looking like now.
Falcon duraware, mostly stuff my Mum gave me and a few picked up in a second hand store in Orewa.
This is one of the many sock monkeys I have made, mostly with bright kids socks from Kmart. I have given all but two away so far. My Mum knits the dresses. I am not really a knitter but I may try again one day even if it is just to make monkey dresses!
I found this table cloth by luck looking on trade me one day and it looks so nice in the playhouse matches the purple chair ($1 on trade me which I was going to paint, but no need now I don't think)
I have made curtains ready to put up so hopefully we will get to that over the summer break and add the taps for the sink area..
This "book shelf" was an old shoe rack in the Salvation Army shop. With a coat of paint it looks nice and fits in well.
My first attempt at bunting with some spotlight fabrics and a retro sheet of my late Great Aunts.....she would not be pleased!
Koala was one of my first soft toys I made when I was a kid...must be around 30 years old now..little ted is even older...nearly 40, looking a little worse for wear... like myself!
I am just learning to crochet so I can make things like this. I bought these cupcakes from a lovely lady at the Devonport Craft Market. My Mum has bought many of them and all the granddaughters love them. I especially like the one with the bee:)
Well done Honey Bree is in tip top shape
